Standard Horizon FF525
Black Box
The FF525 Fish Finder option brings
high-end fish finding capability to
Standard Horizon’s CP500 WAAS
GPS Chartplotter. The dual-frequency ( 50 and 200 kHz) Black Box
Fish Finder’s advanced filtering eliminates unwanted noise and sharpens
return echoes for enhanced separation and
detection.
Transducer ID allows the FF525 to query
the transducer (sold separately) to determine
its performance characteristics. Power output, frequency, beam pattern and other
unique transducer characteristics are sent to
the fish finder. This data allows the fish
finder to fine tune itself to match the transducer, which optimizes overall system performance. No matter what the conditions,
you will be able to fine tune your fishing
rather than the fish finder.

JRC JFC-600
JRC’s dual-frequency fishfinder incorporates
a 6. 5 inch high-definition color LCD display
with an operating system that indicates gain,
noise suppression and interference and
numerical data such as
speed, position, depth
and temperature. It
offers display modes,
which allow the user to
select and view information. When automatic scaling is useful,
the JFC-600 adapts to
this mode, providing an
optimized view. Waypoints (up to 400) can
be entered into the unit and
selected as you navigate to your next catch.
The JFC-600 accepts NMEA 0183 data
from an external GPS and has the ability to
connect directly to the JRC (D)GPS sensor.
The system features three fishfinding alarms
(fish, shallow and deep),
along with three water
temperature alarms and
four navigation data
alarms, which contribute to
safer navigation and more effi-
cient fish finding. It also includes a Dual-Fre-
quency Mixed Mode, enabling the differ-
ences of the two frequencies to be seen more
clearly, giving the user a better chance of a
more profitable catch.
